Monday to Thurs, 9ish-1ishpm at MCYC DayCare Centre has kind of killed my desire for having 26 children. Haha. I dont think i've been called "Jie Jie!" so many times in 4 mornings and some kids just have the attention spans of mosquitoes. OKAY not mosquitoes. At least mosquitoes have to keep kinda still so they can SUCK YOUR BLOOD. Growls. I tell you, outward appearance is oh-so-deceiving. They all look so harmless and cute. CUTE! Okay they were cute. But i think structured, disciplined learning isn't for kids. Hoho. For real. Keeping them in and making them learn just cramps their style. Oh and i was asked at least 6 times in the past week if i was chinese..
"Jie Jie! Ni shi hua ren ma?"
"Yuppp, why? Don't i look chinese?"
"Oh. Yah, ni bu xiang hua ren. Then ni de hua yu heng lan."
Yeah well, that's an easy way to lose all respect. Haha.
But i must say that working there's a million and one times more fulfilling than doing FLAG DAY. (: It's been an exhausting but good week.
Also this week, met up with my PW group and got some stuffs done on monday, WENT OUT WITH THE NONUTS AND HAD THE BEST TIME(: and watched xmen and had a nice late night chat with mel who was visiting from the US (: on tues, wed WENT OUT FOR OUR 6 MONTH OVERDUE DINNER WITH ALEEE (:, thurs Darren, Jiayi, Jodee and I GOT OUR PRETTY CLASS SWEATER then the girls adjorned to Jodee's place and finished our chinese project and this morning i went walking with shaun (: and nearly got caught in the rain. Gonna be flying off to Jakarta tonight and it'll be nice to get away but i dunno how i'm gonna cram studying for terms in. Ohno :(
Second Place Victory - This Day and Age.
Mobile written memories have been erased and i'm feeling a lot lighter. Girl chats are so good, and aleee thanks for being my reality check. I think i will be a lot happier from now on. I think i've finally managed to move on and this time, i'm not gonna let history repeat itself; no turning back from here. Some days are better than others, but when it comes down to it, if i can't even tell the truth from the lies anymore then i don't think i wan't anything without a nice basis of trust (: So yes, goodbye.
